Welcome back, Jean!
Welcome to a short week of work!
Gonna get cold later this week, with highs in the 20’s starting Thursday.
We started you off this morning with news about Wisconsin’s gun-deer season opener, homeless caves in Eau Claire, a couple of vehicle recalls, Trump’s plans for the military on day one of his upcoming term, and the passing of legendary game show host, Chuck Woolery.
In sports, we talked about the Packers getting a big win over San Fran yesterday, the Badger men’s basketball team’s hot start to the season, the football team’s continuing struggles on offense, and the Bucks finally starting to build some momentum.
We let you know what’s on TV tonight and we looked at this past weekend’s box office numbers for “Wicked” and “Gladiator II”.
And of course, Jean recapped her trip overseas!
Funny story about a 10 year-old kid who called 911 for help with his math homework!
With Thanksgiving coming up later this week, we talked about a bunch of holiday-related stuff, including the best & worst times to travel, the amount of calories we actually take in no turkey-day, and some tips for avoiding a disaster at the dinner table.
Did you see the ASU fans storming the field over the weekend? Wild scene! And what about this basketball player who threw his shoe to try & stop an opponent from scoring???? Who throws a shoe? Honestly.
2nd Floor Sarah stopped by to talk about what’s happening in our area this week, and during today’s “Bad news with Happy Music”, we had stories about a guy who stole a bunch of Red Bull & led cops on a high-speed chase, a restaurant owner who tried to stop a couple of guys from pissing on the side of his building, a zookeeper who was stealing the food from some of the animals and keeping it for himself, and a car company that refused to give a couple a refund.
