The final one with Shaw.

This is it, Bania. This is the career.

After 35 years with Midwest Family here in La Crosse and over 20 years as the “news guy” on the Morning Sickness/Rock Mornings, Shaw is officially retired after today’s show.

We did our best to keep things normal this morning, but these kinda things tend to go sideways fast.

We talked about last night’s Yankees/Guardians game, and we also discussed the numerous trades made in the NFL yesterday.

Today happens to be “National Boss’s Day“, along with “National Liqueur Day”…which seems like a good pairing. Talked about Shaw wanting to upgrade his entertainment center now that he’ll be watching a LOT more television, and we also let you know what’s on TV tonight and discussed the Lifetime holiday movie lineup!

Check out this 71 year-old pole dancer who’s probably a lot stronger than you are!

We also talked about last night’s tribute to the late Johnny Gaudreau at the Colombus Blue Jackets’ home opener.

And during today’s “Bad News with Happy Music”, we had stories about the Menendez brothers, an illegal grow operation that burned down, a giant pumpkin that got stuck in traffic, some stolen shoes in Washington state, a Russian man who spent two months on a boat adrift at sea, a #FloridaMan who threatened police with a flamethrower, and some instant karma in the In-n-Out drive-thru.
