Three things to do in & Around River City this weekend.

It’s the weekend and it’s going to be 81° on Saturday…and then 69° on Sunday.

Nice.

Got an event I’ll be emceeing on Friday night, and then……….who knows?

One thing I do know is that I gotta get ready for my shed to get delivered now that my permit got approved.

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend in the Coulee Region, here’s a few suggestions:

FRIDAY – FRIDAY NIGHT COMEDY @ THE MAIN – AN EVENT SPACE

That’s right! Comedy is back at The Main – An Event Space in downtown La Crosse and I HIGHLY recommend you purchase tickets in advance, especially if you want to secure a table for your crew.

This week, your headliner is Larry “Uncle Lar” Reeb. He’s appeared on Showtime, NBC’s “Last Comic Standing”, HBO Opening Night at Rodney’s hosted by the legendary Rodney Dangerfield, and has made many appearances on the Bob & Tom radio program.

Opening for Uncle Lar is a Chicago-based comedian, Ray Wisbrock, who performs at major clubs in the city & suburbs, including the Laug Factory, Zanies, the Chicago Improv & others.

Doors at the Main open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm. You can buy tickets online here.

SATURDAY – PUMPKINS & A PINT @ DASH PARK

Bring the whole family to Dash Park in Onalaska on Saturday morning for pumpkin painting, live music, story time for the kids, food, games, face painting, beverages, & more!

This event is FREE to attend, however, for $10,…you’ll get a pumpkin to paint & a pint to drink(Spotted Cow or 1919 Root Beer).

There will be some live tunes from the Don Harvey Duo, a live art auction, and more at beautiful Dash-Park in Onalaska.

SUNDAY – RIDE WITH THE OWNERS @ GREAT RIVER HARLEY-DAVIDSON

Sure, it’ll be a bit on the cool side, but that’s the best time to ride in my opinion!

It’s the 4th Annual “Ride with the Owners” at Great River Harley-Davidson on Sunday morning.

Registration at Great River HD starts at 10am with kickstands up at 11am. The plan is to ride to Ma Cal Country Club in Caledonia to meet up with the riders from the Iron Hill Powersports store, before heading to the Buck Stops Here in Lansing for some lunch & refreshments.

It’s $20 per person & that includes the ride & your lunch. You can register online in advance here.

Find more info on this event here.

As always, there’s a bunch of other events happening in our area this weekend and you can find many of them online at AroundRiverCity.com

And if you’ve got an event coming up that you’d like to see featured on AroundRiverCity.com, you can submit it for free here.
