Three things to do in & Around River City this weekend!
One thing I can guarantee you.
I’m getting on the Harley this weekend & leaving town.
We’ve got a birthday party to attend later on Saturday, but with the temps in the low 70’s on Saturday & mid-to-upper 70’s on Sunday, I’m DEFINITELY getting my knees in the breeze.
If you’re looking for something to do this weekend in the Coulee Region, here’s a few suggestions:
Live, local wrestling returns to the Roy L. Vigners American Legion Post #52 this Friday night with River City Championship Wrestling’s “Great American Legion Bash”!!!
Welcome RCCW as they celebrate a decade of spectacular entertainment in the area! Doors for this event are at 7pm and tickets are extremely affordable! Ringside seats are just $15 in advance and can be purchased online here.
River City Championship Wrestling brings the action back to Roy L Vingers American Legion as we celebrate 10 years of RCCW action in La Crosse, WI!
The RCCW Heavyweight strap is up for grabs as the Champ, “The Natural” Chris Black puts his belt on the line against Hartenbower! And the RCCW Tag Team titles are also up for grabs as Dysfunction does battle against the Midnight Calvary.
Card is subject to change, but check out some of the expected matches:

SATURDAY – ANDY HUGHES @ BENNETT O’RILEY’S SOUTH
My guy, Andy Hughes, is playing all over the Seven River Region now that he’s a full-time musician, and you’ve got a chance to check him out on the South Side this Saturday afternoon.
I’m wondering if the patio is gonna be open at Bennett O’Riley’s South??? Weather certainly seems like it’s going to be cooperating for a little outdoor day drinkin’!
Inside or out, they’ve got spectacular food at Bennett O’Riley’s(get the Irish Pub Burger!) and you can enjoy live tunes from Andy Hughes FOR FREE from 2-5pm.
Just don’t be a cheap-ass-mofo! Make sure you tip your bartender, waitstaff, AND your entertainment!
Find more info on this event here.
SUNDAY – THE MOLLY MAGUIRES @ THE MAIN – AN EVENT SPACE TO BENEFIT MOON TUNES
I know it feels like we’ve got a lengthy wait before Moon Tunes gets started at Riverside Park, but June will be here in a jiffy!
And to help celebrate the release of this year’s Moon Tunes schedule, the Molly Maguires will be playing a FREE show this Sunday afternoon at the Main – An Event Space.
Doors at the Main open at 1pm for this FREE show, and you can find more info here.
As always, there’s a bunch of other events happening in our area & you can find many of them online at AroundRiverCity.com
And if you’ve got an event coming up that you’d like to see featured on AroundRiverCity.com, you can submit it for free!
