The one with all the holiday stuff
A lot going on this week…our final week together until after the first of the year. Brian’s out next week, Jean & Shaw the following week…so we’ll talk to you again in 2024, apparently!
We started you off with the Monday Morning Throwback, and we talked about a guy who died with $13 million and gave it all to a bunch of random charities!
Also, we discussed the traits of happy people across the globe, and asked the question, “Would you sell your dog for $200,000?“
There’s an interesting study that advises people to say “NO” to holiday invites for their mental health.
On Tuesday’s edition of “Bad News with Happy Music”, we had stories about a #FloridaMan who shot his gun at a Christmas parade going by his house, another #FloridaMan who got drunk & decided to sexually assault a manatee statue, and a guy in Oregon who rigged his home with booby traps like the ones in the “Indiana Jones” films.
On Hump Day, we talked about the six different types of drivers on the road, and we discussed the new Netflix movie, “Leave the World Behind”. Plus, another edition of “You’re Killin’ Me, Shaws”. Plus, a great story about being #HockeyTough.
On Wednesday’s edition of “Bad News with Happy Music”, we had stories about a guy in Denver who’s been stealing panties all over the place, a new study that tried to determine the ideal male buttocks, and a #FloridaWoman who got busted for DUI & then urinated on herself at the police station while singing gospel songs.
Thursday morning, we ran down a list of some of the worst Christmas songs, and we found out that having too many kids might kill you.
On Thursday’s edition of Bad News with Happy Music Highlights, we had stories about a Scottish man who held his sneeze & ripped his throat, a book that was returned to library in Pennsylvania after over 119 years, the top fetish of 2023, and a couple of men got caught stealing from Kohl’s then argued about sale prices.
On Friday, we ran through a list of some rude behaviors you should avoid at a holiday party, and we hooked you up with a new list of things to do in & Around River City this weekend!
And on Friday’s edition of “Bad News with Happy Music”, we had stories about 4 month old who survived a ride in a tornado, a guy who stole a Little Free Library, some employees at a bar called “Mugshots” that beat another employee, and a former Harvard Professor who inseminated a woman with his own sperm, plus….Bleu Cheese Beer!
