Spooky Season Starts Now
Those insufferable “summer children” will tell you that summer isn’t over until September 23rd, the autumnal equinox. Sure, according to the calendar, that’s true. However, they didn’t exactly jump up to stop anyone from calling it summer until June 21st. They were perfectly fine calling it summer on Memorial Day weekend with the rest of us. Sorry, summer peeps, but you don’t get to have your cake and eat it too.
If summer starts Memorial Day weekend, then it ends after Labor Day weekend. You don’t get to steal an extra few weeks just because you think your season is better. (It’s not)
The kids are back in school, and we’ve felt a nice chill already on the occasional evening.
Spooky season is now.
So put away the margaritas and swimsuits, and pick up the apple cider and hoodies. Put in your favorite scary movie or 10, and get ready for fall fun.
Oh, and you Christmas bitches better sit down too. It’s not your turn yet.
