The one with PickleGate
Adios, August! Goodbye, Summer! Hello, Fall & Spooky season!
Boy, does that sound basic.
I am rather excited that summer is coming to an end. Festbiers are back, Halloween & horror movies are right around the corner…it’s my favorite time of year!
We started the week in August with the Monday Morning Throwback, and ended in September with a list of things to look forward to in the coming month.
In between, we had a story about the supposed “PickleGate“, and on Monday’s edition of Bad News with Happy Music, we had a story about a guy in China who was struck by lightning TWICE in five minutes, and another story about a married couple that was trying to get pregnant for the past four years before realizing that they were doing it all wrong.
We talked about the bar in Milwaukee that is planning on paying people’s bar tabs when Aaron Rodgers loses, and we also heard about a wonderful 93 year-old woman in Texas who spends her days making dog beds for shelter dogs with scrap fabric from her quiliting group!
On Tuesday’s edition of “Bad News with Happy Music”, we had a story about a guy who tried to share his sausage at the continental breakfast at a hotel, and we discussed a recent study of the rise in hospitalizations for people with stuff shoved up their ass.
Brian celebrated a new “adults only” flight, and Jean whiffed on this week’s edition of “You’re Killin’ Me, Jeans”, as Shaw was on vacation until Thursday.
On Wednesday’s edition of “Bad News with Happy Music”, we had a story about gator on the loose in a NJ park, and a woman who snuck a gun into an MLB game in-between her belly fat rolls!
Shaw returned on Thursday and during “Bad News with Happy Music”, he shared several stories involving animals, including a bunch of bees that got loose on a highway, some goats that were wandering around a neighborhood in California, a driver with a parrot on his shoulder, and a guy in Nebraska giving a bull a ride in his car.
And on Friday, we hooked you up with a list of things to look forward to in the month of September, and a new list of things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend!
