The Monday Morning Throwback – What makes a good dive bar

Back in 2013, Dirty Dan Deicher was filling in for Scott Robert Shaw and ran down a list of things that make a good dive bar.

Some of the suggestions included:

 – a sign advertising an event at the local VFW

 – at least one patron should look like they’ve been there since 10am

 – pool table with faded felt with a sign telling you not to use the pool balls in a fight
