Three things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend!
It’s Halloween, witches!
I’m excited to drain some taps at Ecker’s this weekend, and keg some of my own beer! I’ve got a festbier that’s been lagering for a couple of months and it’s time to finally get that bad boy kegged and tapped!
Also going to be watching a TON of horror movies this weekend as we get ready to say goodbye to October!
If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, here’s a few ideas:
TONIGHT!!!!!! Get to the Haunted House Spooktacular at Bauer’s Market in La Crescent from 6pm-9pm.
There’s a $5 entrance fee & all CDC guidelines apply & masks are required. Proceeds benefit the Christmas Ring & Run Organization. Find out more here.
On Saturday morning, get some grub & watch the Badgers take on the Hawkeyes at Great River Harley-Davidson for their Pig Roast & Pigskin party!
They open at 10am & will be serving a full hog roast with sides starting at noon-thirty, and they’ll have face-painting for the kids, door prizes, demo rides(SUNNY & 60°!!!), and the Badger game on the TV!!!!
Saturday night, there’s a LOT of choices, but if you’re looking for some great live music and an opportunity to help some amazing local charitable organizations, get the Cavalier Theater in downtown La Crosse for the Halloween Bash 9, featuring live music from Last Call, Sellout & special guest, Ginja.
Doors open at 4pm with music starting at 5pm. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Student & Military tickets are just $10 in advance or at the door.
There will be a costume contest with multiple categories, and all the proceeds will benefit local animal shelters & the American Red Cross.
Find more info here.
On Sunday, if you need some delicious breakfast to soak up all that booze rumbling around in your guts, get to the American Legion Post 51 in West Salem for their “No tricks, Just Treats” AYCE breakfast!
The event is from 8am until 11am and breakfast is just $10 per person & includes made-to-order omelets, pancakes, waffles, eggs & more!
Proceeds will benefit the Building Fund.
As always, there’s a TON of other events happening right here in the Coulee Region this weekend, and you can find many of them online at AroundRiverCity.com.
