Three things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend.

BIG weekend coming up. July is coming to an end. The weather is cooling off finally. I’ve got THREE Rock Stops this weekend, plus, a Pat McCurdy show at Moxie’s on Friday night, a housewarming party on Saturday afternoon & a retirement party on Saturday evening.

Whew!

Busy, busy, busy!

If you’re looking for something to do in the area this weekend, here’s a few suggestions from yours truly:

Starting today & running through the weekend, it’s the annual “Deecefest” at Creekside Pub & Grill and Bluebird campground.

Live music from The Big Wu, Greg Hall & The Wrecking Ball, The White Iron Band, The Smokin Bandits, Joe & Vicki Price, Flibbertijibbet, and MORE!

Find a full lineup here.

On Saturday, there’s no shortage of things to do, but I hope that if you ever listened to the Lead Balloon Show with Mike Kearns on WKTY, you take some time out of your afternoon & head to Myrick Park for Mike’s Celebration of Life.

The event runs from 1pm until 5pm and some food, beer, and water will be provided. There is limited seating, please feel free to bring chairs.

You can also listen to a tribute to Mike Kearns here:

Saturday night, get to the La Crosse Intergalactic Speedway of West Salem for the TRAILER RACE OF DESTRUCTION!!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoy Late Models, Sportsmen, Street Stocks and The TRAILER RACE OF DESTRUCTION!!!!

On #SundayFunday, get up, take the dogs for a walk, and then head to JavaVino for some live music from Adam Palm & Dustin Lamm!

They play from 11am until 2pm on the outdoor patio area, and DOGS ARE WELCOME!

As always, there’s a bunch of other events happening this weekend in the La Crosse area, and you can find many of those events at AroundRiverCity.com.

And if you’ve got an event coming up that you’d like to see on AroundRiverCity.com, you can submit it for free here.
