Three things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend.
Bruh. I am NOT cut out for this 90+ degree weather. I’ll be inside with my 64° air conditioning(thanks, Paul’s Heating & AC!).
I do have to venture out on Friday afternoon/evening to Howie’s on La Crosse for the Rock Stop with Twisted Tea, and Saturday night I’ll be at the La Crosse Speedway for “Rockin’ the Races” thanks to Team Niki Paisley, your C21 Affiliated Realtor, and I’ll be at Shep’s in Lansing on Sunday for another Rock Stop. But other than that, I’ll probably be hunkered down in my basement man-cave of frozen solitude.
But, if you’re looking to venture out & enjoy the heat, here’s a few things to do in the area this weekend:
Starting with June Dairy Days in West Salem! Food, drinks, live music, tractor pulls, and SOOOO much more!
Dairy Days runs all weekend, but tonight you can enjoy the kiddie tractor pull at 5pm, Blue Collar 40 at 8:30pm on the main stage, and FIREWORKS at about 10pm!
See the FULL weekend schedule here.
On Saturday, get up early, get your sneaks laced up and “Walk With Warriors” at the YMCA in Onalaska.
This annual event raises money & awareness for Veteran programs offered by the YMCA. The event will run from 9am until noon, with the walking course available from 9:30 until 11:30am and there will be some live tunes, snacks, and more.
Find all the info here.
If you’re looking for some “adult” fun on Saturday, get to the Nort’ side of town for the 9th Annual “Rockin’ the Viaduct” block party! Live music from Entourage, Hallowed Ground, and the Brianna Rae Band, plus DJ Gomez wrapping things up!
The event starts at noon and you can find all the info here.
On Sunday Funday, swing a leg over the Harley & take the ride to Trempealeau to see more live tunes…from The Great River Troubadours at Muddy Waters Bar!
They’ll be playing from 2pm until 6pm!
As always, there’s a TON of other events happening in our area this weekend and you can find MANY of them online at AroundRiverCity.com, and if you’ve got an event coming up that you’d like to see on AroundRiverCity.com, submit it for FREE here.
