A recap of the Riverfront Revolt!
What a weekend!
So much music…so many friends I ran into…all the beers I chugged!
Definitely needed a relaxing day yesterday to get mentally prepared for this week.
We started things off this morning with news about getting rid of the penny,
In sports, the Eagles & Chiefs are heading back to the Super Bowl after winning the AFC & NFC Championship games yesterday, the Bucks struggled in LA over the weekend, and the Badgers got back on track against Nebraska.
Elsewhere in sports, we recapped the victors at the Australian Open, and the Cowboys got a new head coach.
Brian talked about his two days at the La Crosse Center for the Riverfront Revolt, and 2nd Floor Sarah stopped by yet again to let us know what’s happening in our area this week.
Cool story about a pizza delivery guy who got a tiny tip during a snow storm, but is getting some help from a GoFundMe that was set up for him. And a couple in Alabama won’t have to worry about birthday parties for their child for the next 18 years after giving birth in a Krispy Kreme parking lot.
We let you know what’s on TV tonight, and we talked about a Senator in Connecticut who wants theaters to be more honest with the “start times” for films.
Had a couple of food-related items this morning…including a link between Bacon & dementia, and a Skyline-chili flavored ice cream. Sounds nasty.
In case you missed it, an 11 year-old in LA found the ultra-rare Paul Skenes baseball card and is going to auction it off for charity!
And in today’s edition of “Bad News with Happy Music”, we had stories about a restaurant in NJ that added a “proud boys” burger to it’s menu, a guy who caused $9,000 in damage to a carpet at a DMV, a dude who turned orange after eating a bunch of cheese & meat & butter, a guy who got into a brawl in Canada and somehow froze his penis to the ground, and a #FloridaPrincipal who threw a kegger for a bunch of underage students.
