After taking the last week off, Jean returns to the show and we heard all about her holiday celebrations.

In sports, we recapped yesterday’s College Football Playoff bowl games, including the wild finish between Texas & Arizona State, and we took a look ahead at the rest of the upcoming bowl schedule. Also, the NBA came down hard on the Miami Heat & the Houston Rockets for their recent on-court dust-up.
The new year has begun and if you’re looking for some healthier eating options, maybe some delicious watercress? Apparently, it’s the most nutrient-dense veggie out there.
A new “Karen of the Day” is apparently a big fan of the movie “Titanic” and also really wants to drink some water.
