Three things to do in & Around River City this weekend!

Christmas has come & gone, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty of holiday activities going on in the area this weekend. Plus, the temps are going to be pretty mild, so getting outside won’t be such a pain in the ass!

If you’re looking for some stuff to do over the next few days, here’s a few suggestions:

FRIDAY – CUSTOMER APPRECIATION PARTY & MUG CLUB SIGN UP AT THE PEARL ST. BREWERY

Did someone say “FREE BEER FOR A YEAR”????

Count me in, then!

Get to the Pearl St. Brewery this evening for their annual Customer Appreciation party featuring some great local beers, live music from my buddy – Tom Conrad, free food, and a shot at free beer for a year!

The party starts at 5pm and if you sign up for the PSB‘s Mug Club, you’ll score a FREE growler and you’ll be entered to win free beer for a year.

What’s the Mug Club, you ask? Well, Mug Club costs $100.00 and membership includes a personalized mug for NEW members, exclusive monthly mug club nights, discounts on growlers and merchandise and the occasional FREE beer!

SATURDAY – THE BRIANNA RAE BAND AT WHISKEY RIVER BAR & GRILL

If you’re looking for more live music this weekend, along with some great food & drinks…then get to Whiskey River Bar & Grill in West Salem on Saturday night and check out the Brianna Rae Band.

Show starts at 8pm and if you’re sick of leftover ham, they’ve got fantastic burgers, wings, & much more at Whiskey River.

The Brianna Rae Band covers classic rock, alternative, pop rock, blues, originals, and more…including covers of REM, Matchbox 20, Alanis Morissette, Train, AC/DC, Sheryl Crow, Chris Stapleton and then some!

SUNDAY – PUBLIC OPEN SKATE @ THE ONALASKA OMNI CENTER

Look, it’s nice that the temps this weekend are going to be in the mid 40’s, but it sucks if you’re looking for some outdoor ice to skate on. So head to the Omni Center in Onalaska this Sunday evening for an open-skate for the whole family.

These open skates actually run through the end of February, so if you can’t make it this weekend, you’ve got several more opportunities to hit the ice.

Maybe you got some new blades for Christmas and have been waiting to try them out? Here’s your chance! And if you don’t have any skates, they rent them at the Omni Center for just $5!

It’s also $5 for admission and the concession stand will be open for some snacks & drinks. FYI, the Omni Center is CASHLESS!!!!! They do accept debit & credit cards.

As always, there’s plenty of other events happening in our area this weekend & you can find many of them online at AroundRiverCity.com

And if you’ve got an event coming up that you’d like to see featured on AroundRiverCity.com, you can submit it for free here.
