Benefit for Joey
In November of last year, Joey Evans broke his neck & suffered multiple other injuries in a car wreck. He spent a month in the ICU at Gundersen in La Crosse where they performed neck surgery and he had multiple other procedures.
From Gundersen, Joey was transferred to Select Specialty Hospital in Madison for another month of intense recovery.
After learning to breathe on his own, Joey was then transferred to UW Rehab for three weeks for more therapy, and is now in therapy in Richland Center.
Joey is paralyzed from the chest down and has a long road of recovery and change in front of him. His family is working diligently to make their home handicap-accessible for Joey’s return. In order to raise money for these improvements and changes, there will be a benefit for Joey at the American Legion Post 220 in Soldiers Grove, WI on Saturday, April 13th starting at 2pm.
There will be live music, a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, pulled pork sandwiches from Apple Ridge Custom Meats, and much more!
