Three things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend.

High temps in the 90’s all this week, but maybe some showers & thunderstorms on Sunday???

For the first time in awhile, I have an entire weekend to myself. No Rock Stops, no bus trips, no plans. Well, other than the Logger game on Sunday! Might have a firepit, maybe check out a brewery or two. Might get on Puck’s boat!

If you’re looking to get to a Rock Stop this weekend, click here for a full list of stops. And if you’re looking to get to a Logger game this season at the Lumberyard, click here.

And if you’re looking for something to do this weekend, here’s a few suggestions:

FRIDAY – 2ND ANNUAL #ENDALZ FEST @ CELEBRATIONS ON THE RIVER

Did you know that Alzheimer’s is the 6th leading cause of death in the U.S. and the ONLY one without a cure or treatment? More than six million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s.

The 2nd Annual #EndALZ event helps bring together advocates, supporters, care givers, and those affected by Alzheimer’s to raise awareness in the Coulee Region!

Money raised directly goes to local programs and resources that support caregivers in our communities as well as towards the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and the Alzheimer’s Association.

Doors open at 5pm at Celebrations on the River with both heavy & light appetizers, dementia-friendly spaces with sensory items for ALL to enjoy the Fest, live music from Andy Hughes & Joe Gantzer of TUGG, a cash bar, a silent auction, & more!

Purchase tickets for this event here. And for more information, please click here.

SATURDAY – HOUSTON COUNTY BREAKFAST ON THE FARM @ WHOLESOME FAMILY FARMS IN CALEDONIA

June is Dairy Days, so celebrate on the farm with some delicious breakfast at Wholesome Family Farms in Caledonia!

This event is from 7am until 11am hosted by the Lee, Jordan & Rachelle Meyer family.

Park your car at the Caledonia High School for free & take a ride to the farm where you’ll enjoy pancakes, sausage, milk, coffee, cheese, cheese curds, yogurt & ice cream! Plus, cow calling, a petting zoo, a scavenger hunt, children’s activities, farm tour, dairy parlor viewing & more!

Adults are $8 and Kids under 12 are $5.

You can find more info here.

SATURDAY NIGHT – MUSIC ON THE GREENS WITH JESSE STRATTON BAND & THE SPACE HEATERS @ FOX HOLLOW

Live music outside on a summer night with great food & the one of the best beer selections in the Coulee Region…and it all benefits the La Crosse Area Professional Firefighters Charitable Foundation??

Sign me up!

Music on the Greens is back at Fox Hollow this Saturday night with live music from the Space Heaters and the Jesse Stratton Band!

Music starts at 5:30pm, so bring your chairs, bug-spray, and a few extra bucks for the 50/50 raffle!

More info on this event here.

SUNDAY – SUPERHERO KID PARTY @ THE RIVOLI THEATER

The problem with Halloween is that it’s just one day a year. So what can you do with that Superman/Spider-Man/Iron Man/Scarlet Witch costume the other 364 days?

Put it on this #SundayFunday & bring the family to the Rivoli Theater in downtown La Crosse for a Superhero Kid Party featuring the ‘Lego Batman’ movie!

Tickets are just $6 and can be purchased online here. Doors open at 11am and the movie begins at noon!

Find more info on this event here.

As always, there’s a bunch of other events in our area this weekend and you can find many of them online at AroundRiverCity.com

And if you’ve got an event coming up that you’d like to see on AroundRiverCity.com, you can submit it for free here.
