Three things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend.
As the popular t-shirt says, “it’s a bad weekend to be a beer”.
My plan is to do some drinking this weekend, and if you’re up for it, maybe I’ll run into you!
Starting tonight, it’s “Taster’s Eve” in La Crosse as we pre-game for the return of the Between the Bluffs Beer, Wine & Cheese Fest on Saturday.
There will be a shuttle running in a loop continuously tonight from 5-10pm, and you can hop on & off at your desired location to enjoy some beers, food, music, and special releases!
The shuttle starts at the Pearl St. Brewery. They’ll have live tunes from the Mayfield Experience, a bunch of delicious beers on tap, and some stellar food from the Monkey Business food truck.
Taster’s Eve will also be stopping at Lost Island Wine/Skeleton Crew Brew, the La Crosse Distilling Co., Schuby’s Neighborhood Butcher, 608 Brewing Company, and David Reay’s Modern Diner & Tavern.
Several other businesses will participating in Taster’s Eve, including Bodega Brew Pub, and Swing Bridge Pub.

On Saturday, it’s the big return of Between the Bluffs Beer, Wine & Cheese Fest to the Southside Oktoberfest grounds.
VIP & GA tickets are still available online, and you might even be able to grab some at the door on Saturday.
VIP starts with early access at noon, on-site VIP parking, a souvenir sampling glass, a voucher for the La Crosse County Tavern League‘s “Safe Ride Program”, a special VIP gift, with specialty beers, wines, meats & cheeses in the VIP area along with a catered meal, and more! GA tickets include entry at 2pm, a souvenir glass, a free shuttle to & from host hotels, and the voucher for the “Safe Ride Program”.

On #SundayFunday, if you’re looking for more drinks, music & good times, get to the Robins Nest on French Island for the Great River Troubadours!
They’ll be playing from 2-5pm and there’s no cover, so stop by!
As always, there’s plenty of other events happening in our area this weekend, and you can find many of them online at AroundRiverCity.com.
And if you’ve got an event coming up that you’d like to see featured on AroundRiverCity.com, you can submit it for free here.
