Chilling With Pearl Street Brewery
I moved to La Crosse in November of 2018 and the first place The Wife and I went to for a date was the Pearl Street Brewery. We walked in, ordered a flight and immediately went for the arcade. It was one of the best times ever! We drank a bunch of great beer, my favorites being Pearl St Pale and the Breakfast beer and The Wives were Java Lava and the Rolled Oat Stout. And I got to watch The Wife show me how good she is at arcade games which is very!
The taproom is an amazing glimpse of the past and present of La Crosse and truly an experience unlike many other breweries in the country. Take the brewery tour and you’ll see the bones that kept our community alive for so many years. You’ll also get an inside look at how some of the best beers in the area are brewed.
The Wife and I are looking forward to getting back over to try the new flavors and styles, especially from the barrel aged collection! Add in some new seltzers and wines on tap and it’s going to be a good time at the PSB! I had a buddy come down a few weeks ago and I gave him some Shitty Lite and he told me it’s his new favorite and when I said we were out took an Uber to Festival to buy some more.
Check out my interview with Joe here. We talk the past, present and future of PSB as well as what to look forward to for next weeks Winter Ball. Get your tickets for that now on their website or at the taproom.
