What movie makes you cry no matter how many times you’ve seen it?
I’ll admit it. I tear up at movies.
Not all of them, but if you’ve listened to the show for any length of time, you probably know a few of them. And no matter how many times I see them, I still shed a tear during certain points.
Like when Samwise carries Frodo up Mt. Doom.
After the Ring grabs hold of Frodo and changes him. After he treats Sam like absolute garbage and tries to repeatedly chase him away, Sam does his duty as a best friend and proves his deep love for Frodo.
How could you not cry at that? You gotta be some kinda heartless bastard to stay dry-eyed during that scene.
Another one that always gets me is the end of “Armageddon” when Harry stays behind on the asteroid to save humanity and Bear says “Yo Harry, you the man”.
Gets me EVERY. EFFING. TIME.
Someone recently asked the question on Twitter about which movie always makes you cry no matter how many times you’ve seen it
What movie automatically makes you cry no matter how many times you’ve seen it? You can do more than 1.

I’ll start
Apollo 13
Big Fish
The Green Mile
And there was no shortage of answers, from “Beaches” to “Transformers” to “Toy Story”.
Many of the movies were mentioned multiple times, including “Steel Magnolias”, which was mentioned so many times that it was actually trending on Twitter over the weekend.
