Who has the best cheeseburger?

Today is National Cheeseburger Day!

What is a cheeseburger, though? Is it just a beef patty with a slice of cheese in a bun?

Or can you add toppings like lettuce, tomatoes & pickles? Is it still a cheeseburger with onions? What about some BBQ sauce or some Bacon & bleu cheese?

According to the cheeseburger Wiki page, it’s “a hamburger topped with cheese”. Sounds awfully boring to me.

I like mine rare with a thick slice of sharp cheddar on top, a whole slice of red onion, and a bit of mayo on the bun.

There’s definitely no shortage of places to get a great burger here in the La Crosse area, but who has the BEST cheeseburger?

    my dad has the best cheeseburgers. my dad heard you guys talking about the types of cheeses you put on a burger. apparently we’re the only people who put Provolone on the burger
