Scott Nachtigal Benefit
Scott Nachtigal Benefit
Last October, Scott Nachtigal swerved to miss a deer and rolled his car multiple times. He shattered his C7 vertebrae, damaged his spinal cord, and is now paralyzed from the chest down. Thankfully, Scott still has the use of his arms and hands but his hands have been affected due to the paralysis.
There will be a benefit for Scott on Saturday, March 19th at the Log Cabin in Bangor starting at noon. There will be a silent auction, Chinese raffle, bake and craft sale, and live auction that starts at 5pm. Food available all day!
This benefit is to help raise money to remodel parts of their home to accommodate Scott’s everyday needs, equipment he requires, hospital expenses and everyday expenses.
Scott is married and has two children that are 14 and 3 years old. Scott has held two jobs for many years to provide for his family. Scott was also dedicated to go kart racing with his 14 year old son for the past 9 years but due to his paralysis and financial strain they will be unable to go kart any longer.
To donate directly, there is a GoFundMe page set up. And for more information on this benefit, please visit the event page on Facebook.
